Unlike other shabu-shabu restaurants, 9292 Shabu is a buffet restaurant where you can enjoy more than 12 kinds of authentic Korean hot food. We are not talking about pre-made food. You can cook yourself sundubu (soft tofu) stew, seaweed soup, jjamppong (spicy seafood soup), and seafood kalguksu (hand-made noodles), using the fresh ingredients we provide. Enjoy diverse and rich tastes of Korea such as pumpkin porridge, red bean porridge, rice porridge, japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), and various kinds of kimchi. Cream spaghetti, tomato spaghetti, and cream soup are available too. In addition to the listed dishes above, we also offer Korean delicacies such as yakshik, a delicious health food made with chestnuts, jujubes, raisins, pine nuts, and rice.

Special Broth

Beef Bone Broth

A soup base made with beef bones and brisket, various spices in the broth rids the smell of beef while boiling for more than a day. It serves as a stamina-filled and robust soup base.

Vegetable Broth
Boiling 14 kinds of vegetables such as ginger, green onion, carrot, red onion and celery for more than 16 hours. It brings out the healthy and clean taste of vegetables.

Seafood Broth
Anchovies, dried barley prawns, and dried sardines were mixed with 4 or more kinds of seaweed and vegetables. It extracts the ‘umami’ of seafood.

Mara Broth

The mara broth has a similar soup base to the beef bone broth. The mara broth includes a special, spicy sauce from the Sichuan region. This sauce is blended into the broth to arouse the taste buds with its spiciness.

Shabu-Shabu (Genghis Khan, Hwogwo) has been a popular dish in East Asia. This dish is enjoyed by putting various vegetables and meat into a soup, making it to your liking, and customizing your meal at the table make this dish charming and popular. You can choose a variety of vegetables and meat along with a variety of soups bases, creating multiple different shabu combinations.

How to enjoy

Shabu-Shabu at It's Best

1 Choose one of the four basic broths: Beef bone broth, Vegetable broth, Seafood broth, and Mara.

2 Choose 12 special sauces that go well with the broth

3 Choose from 30 kinds of fresh vegetables, 5 kinds of special mushrooms, and Korean hot food as a side dish

4 Put vegetables in the broth and blanch them until the deep flavor of the vegetables is soaked in the broth. Add meat and seafood little by little to your liking

5 Lastly, add noodles or rice to complete a wonderful meal!
